何のために生きていくのかの答えを見つけるために

200704222118So… How about start to write my blog in English from now on, I asked myself. That’s ll be really helpful, considering my experience on doing the Japanese blog till now for about a year.

I used to think that my English is not bad but obviously it’s far from good. Yesterday, I went to NOVA English school (the one with a pink rabbit, got it?) and attended a demo lesson through its video conference system. The demo lesson continued for about 20 minutes and frankly speaking, it was not what I had hoped to take.

After that, the staff there continued to introduce more about their system, blah, blah…. One question I was asked was ‘What do you know about NOVA’. I wanted to say ‘the rabbit (Usagi)’ but my answer was ‘the Unagi’ which stands for the eel. The staff’s eyes opened wide in shock…

At the end of the day, I purchased a ticket so that I can join 3 normal lessons and by which I may find whether NOVA’s course would fit me or not. (The staffs were so ‘kind’ that turning their advice down would be really hard. :p)

So, I went to the school again today and joined a formal lesson of my level. After waiting in the classroom for several minutes, the teacher, Simon, with an asian face came in. We talked about how many ways there would be for cost reduction and did a role-playing game, in which another guy ‘Hiroshi’ and I did a discussion about whether ‘we’ should close the cafeteria for cost reduction. A great experience. Simon told us a lot about what kind of words we should use in formal and of course the phrases that could help us.

Well, the lessons do cost some money, by now I think it’s worth.
